imaginary sound
"Imaginary Sound" is a transdisciplinary piece that starts from the language of dance-theater to investigate the imaginary of sound, where the depths of its semantic and sensory foundations are explored. The space in which the work takes place is the unconscious cosmos that composes our comprehension of each sound materialization in the field or the intelligible or the sensual, and in between these two planes: the performance, the mundus imaginalis where the productions and reproductions of the interrelationships between the real and the invisible (but ontologically real) can be present. The work aims to create a speculative replica of the imagistic sphere of sound, where patterns of imaginative creations and metaphorical hypnothesis can achieve real status. Where imaginary is imagery, extracting a new visual sensibility and the power of new images from the imaginal and creative processes of sound imagination.
